OUR MISSION
HGI develops the full spectrum of high-quality product support information. We use technology to deliver value in the product support process by connecting the information we create to our customer’s business systems, business processes, and equipment. We are ethical, innovative, committed, agile, and cost effective, which allows us to build long-term relationships with customers and partners.
Quality Management System
We have a formal documented Quality Management System (QMS), designed to ensure continuous quality improvement. Our work flow is governed by written process directives, and specific quality responsibilities and controls are defined. Our QMS is available to users electronically through our corporate intranet. We have an ISO Management Representative to keep our management team informed of the status of our quality and our performance metrics.
ISO Certification
HGI’s ISO certification is a benefit to your company as well as ours. Certification involves all phases of work in the company, from writing a proposal to shipment of the final product. The two main issues that ISO-certified companies must adhere to are customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. If a company is lax in these areas, their certification could be put in jeopardy.
Work Processes
All of our work processes defined by a procedure or work instruction that must be strictly followed. This ensures that all employees perform their duties in a similar and consistent way. We have at least one internal audit per year and one external (third party) audit per year. These are to monitor our progress and ensure that we are doing what we have said we will do.
HGI also works in conjunction with our client’s quality programs. Several use Six Sigma. We have a certified Six Sigma Black Belt on staff to oversee quality measures in support of their requirements.
